Grace in Real Life

I LOVE a Hallmark movie and Christmas time is my favorite! My husband teases me because he says they all have the same plot…..he just doesn’t get it! That is the beauty of the Hallmark movie! I don’t have to worry about inappropriate words or scenes coming on in front of my children while I’m watching one. I can escape reality for around two hours and watch my favorite actors play out a sappy love story and know there will be a happy ending at the end! I may not always know the setting or the storyline, but it’s something I can count on time and again to entertain me and make me smile.

Want to know something else that I can count on time and again that will always make me smile? The love of Jesus. Much like a Hallmark movie, we know from the bible how life will ultimately play out. We may not always know how the story will unfold, but if we have faith in Jesus, we will have a happy ending! He will give us eternal life!

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

I encourage you to watch a Hallmark movie and discover the magic of a happy ending…..or better yet, read the bible and discover the true happy ending…eternal life with Jesus!
